UN helicopter crash kills 7 in Nepal
A United Nations helicopter crashed in Nepal on Monday, killing at least seven people, officials said.
"We lost radio contact with a UN helicopter Monday while it was returning from Ramechhap in east Nepal," Mohan Prasad Adhikari, a senior official from Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport, told AFP.
Police from the remote hilly district said that at least seven people were killed.
"As well as those killed, some are still stuck in the wreckage," Pushpa Shrestha, a senior police officer from Ramechhap district, 85 kilometres (50 miles) east of Kathmandu, told AFP.
