Jamaat anarchy protested at RU

Teachers and students of Rajshahi University yesterday formed a human chain on campus protesting the countrywide unrest created by Jamaat-e-Islami and Jamaat backed Islami Chhatra Shibir.
Over one hundred students and teachers under the banner Rajshahi University Teachers Association (RUTA) formed the human chain in front of the senate building at 10:30am.
Addressing the human chain, the teachers condemned the recent activities of Jamaat and Shibir and demanded exemplary punishment of the culprits.
They also urged the government to ban politics of Jamaat and Shibir.
