Programme on violence against women begins in Ctg

A 20-day long programme organised to create mass awareness on violence against women began yesterday in Chittagong city.
Prepared on the occasion of International Women Violence Protest 2012, the programme includes rallies, view-sharing discussions, and film shows. The event would mainly focus on creating awareness on violence against women and repression of women and ensuring equal rights for women in every aspect of life.
Chittagong Social Development Forum, an umbrella organisation of NGOs and civil society members, organised the programme.
