Schoolgirl 'commits suicide'

A schoolgirl allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in her house at Khulshi of Chittagong yesterday.
Rinki Barua, 14, daughter of SK Barua, appeared in the JSC (Junior School Certificate) examination this year.
Family members rushed Rinki to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where doctors declared her dead, said Zahir, sub-inspector of CMCH police outpost.
She hanged herself after having a quarrel with her mother, he added.
The body was sent to the CMCH morgue for an autopsy.
