Professional dev programme ends

A five-week-long professional development training programme on 'Effective business correspondence in English', organised by the Professional Development Programme Unit of Moazzam Hossain School of Business at Presidency University (PU), has just concluded.
It was designed for business executives, entrepreneurs, professionals and students who need to write professional and commercial correspondence in English effectively at work, says a press release.
It was conducted by Firoz Al Mamun and Kazi Ashraful Islam, faculty members of the MH School of Business.
Twenty mid-level and senior executives from different organisations including Bangladesh Express Co Ltd (FedEx), Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd, Mirpur Ceramic Works Ltd, Group 4 Securitas Ltd participated in the training programme designed to improve and strengthen English communication skills of the participants.
