Two children drown in Rangpur

Two children drowned in a pond in Uttam-Harati area in Rangpur city on Thursday afternoon.
The victims were Arshad Hossain, 5, and his maternal cousin Sumaiya Akhter Nakshi, 4.
Quoting locals, police said Arshad and Sumaiya were playing on the bank of the pond near their house.
Later, family members of the victims recovered the bodies floating in the pond.
