Missing man's body found buried underground

Police recovered the body of a man, buried underground and having injury marks on the forehead, in Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong yesterday.
The deceased Shibu Dey, 45, son of Makhom Chandra Dey, of Mohadebpur Baroyarpara under Sitakunda Police Station, went missing after going in search of his goat in a hill near his residence on Monday, said police.
His family members and the locals found signs indicating a spot, at the bottom of the hill near Sheik Nagar area, to have been recently dug up. He was found buried there, said Samiul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sitakunda Police Station.
Shibu was hit on the head with a blunt weapon and a murder case was being filed in this connection, said the OC.
