Major reshuffle in police admin

The government has made a major reshuffle in the higher-tier of police administration including deputy inspector generals (DIG) and additional inspector generals.
The changes made through a home ministry circular issued on Thursday involve 51 police officials including six DIGs and 18 additional inspector generals.
The other officials are superintendents of police, the circular added.
DIGs Siddiqur Rahman of Rajshahi Range of Police was posted as director of NSI in Dhaka, Asaduzzaman Mian from Dhaka Range to Highway Police in Dhaka, Binoy Krishna Bala of Rangpur Range to Police Headquarters, Humayun Kabir of Highway Police to Police Headquarters, Mir Shahidul Islam of Police Headquarters to Rajshahi Range and Iqbal Bahar from Police Headquarters to Rangpur Range.
