Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty to perform at Celebrating Life 2012 Gala Event

Classical music maestro, Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, along with his daughter Kaushiki Desikan, will perform at the 'Celebrating Life 2012' gala event on November 2, 2012 at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka. The performance will be a highlight of the award giving ceremony. This is the first time this father-daughter duo will perform together in Bangladesh. Sabina Yasmin will also grace the occasion with her performance.
Since 2008, 'Celebrating Life' has been organised annually by The Daily Star with the support of Standard Chartered Bank to promote the young talents of Bangladesh, to know our country better and to uphold our cultural heritage. The theme for 'Celebrating Life 2012' is 'Celebrating Youth of Bangladesh'.
