Bizon Chandra Mistry releases two albums

Accomplished singer and a teacher at Chhayanaut, Bizon Chandra Mistry's two audio albums -- “Matir Protima”, featuring Nazrul's Shyama Sangeet, and “Shoktimoyi Ma”, also featuring devotional songs -- are now in the audio market. MSL Products has produced the albums.
The album “Matir Protima” contains seven Syhama Sangeet including “Thir Hoye Tui Bosh Dekhi Ma”, “Amar Haat-e Kali Mukh-e Kali” and more. The music for the album has been directed by Ajit Mitra.
Bizon's other album, titled “Shoktimoyi Ma” contains 11 devotional songs, including “Amar Bhab-er Gharey Obhab Toh Nai”, “Keno Dekha Diyeo Dekha Nahi Dao”, “Hey Probhu Doyamoy” and more. Dr. Mintu Krishna Paul, Ranjan Acharya, Advocate Bishwajit Das, Jiban Chowdhury, Hirendranath Mridha and others have written lyrics while Liton Das has composed most of the songs and directed music for the album.
GC Trivedi Gupu, noted artiste and a lecturer at the Department of Oriental Art, Faculty of Fine Arts of Dhaka University has designed the album covers. President of Chhayanaut, Deshikottom Dr. Sanjida Khatun, will formally launch the albums on October 19 at Chhayanaut Auditorium, Dhanmondi, Dhaka. Following the launch, Bizon Chandra Mistry will perform solo music at a soiree.
