6 killed in Nepal landslide
At least 6 people have been killed in Nepal and eight, including five Indians have gone missing when five vehicles were hit by a landslide on a highway.
The landslide, triggered by heavy rainfall, took place last night and buried trucks, pick-up van and a car along the Mechi highway near Ilam in eastern Nepal.
According to police inspector Bishnu Hari Ghimire, who was at the site when the mishap happened, five of the missing are Indian nationals. Their identities are yet to be established, myrepublica news website said.
