Adaptation of Humayun Ahmed's “Otithi” on Channel i

Adapting a Humayun Ahmed story “Otithi”, Zinat Hossain Juthi has written a play with the same title, which has been directed by Jewel Rana. The TV play will be aired on Channel i on October 1 at 7:50 pm, marking the channel's 14th anniversary.
The plot revolves around Safura, who with her husband and two children, work hard to make ends meet, in a village. Concerned about her children's future, she goes to a city and works as a domestic help. Initially, the owner of the house doesn't treat her well, however, eventually the relationship with her employer gets better. Safura gets a raise too.
Safura sends money to her husband every month. With that money, her husband marries again. Safura, who is in the dark, returns to the village.
The cast includes Champa, Ahmed Rubel, Sarika, Juthi, Tutul Chowdhury, Rebeka Moni, Shaheen, Wafa and Ayomi.
