International Master Abu Sufian Shakil took solo lead in the Access Group 38th National Chess B Championship at the close of the fifth round at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall room yesterday.
Shakil defeated FM Taibur Rahman to secure maximum five points from as many matches while three players -- FM Debaraj Chatterjee, FM Mohammad Javed and FM Nasir Ahmed -- shared the second position with 4.5 points each.
