When Joya Ahsan signed her first mainstream Bangladeshi film -- “Purno Doirgho Prem Kahini”, opposite Shakib Khan, it became breaking news. Now, the leading lady, who is equally popular among the masses and critics, has started shooting for another commercial film, titled “Parley Theka”. Maruf Hasan is directing the film.
Joya Ahsan will don the role of a singer in the film. At present she is busy shooting for the film at Kalartek, Uttara, Dhaka. Shooting for “Purno Doirgho Prem Kahini” is also on full swing.
Meanwhile, feature film “Chorabali” starring Joya is awaiting release. The actress has already completed shooting for a Tollywood (Kolkata) film “Aborton” that will also likely be released this year. Joya's first film was “Bachelor”. She has earned rave reviews for her performances in “Dubshatar”, “Phirey Esho Behula” and “Guerrilla”.
