Police recovered the body of a middle aged man from a jute field in Chakoi village under Joypur union of Lohagara upazila yesterday. The deceased was identified as Khobir Jommadder, 50, son of Kanai Jommadder of the village. Police said, being informed by locals, they rushed to the spot and recovered the body. His rivals might have killed him and dumped the body at the spot, they said.
