With the onset of Eid-ul-fitr the small screen is a big attraction. All the Bangla channels have come up with a surfeit of entertainment ranging from special TV plays, tele-films, musical shows and magazine programmes. There's likely to be something for everyone. A rundown of the Eid-special programmes on different channels:

Musical “Eid Parbaner Pala”
As a part of the Eid special line up of programmes, Channel 9 is airing a six-episode folk musical programme titled “Eid Parbaner Pala”. The programme begins on Eid day at 8:50 pm and will continue for a week at the same time every day.
Produced by Ruhul Kabir, the programme will feature musical performances by noted folk singer Kuddus Boyati. He will perform different genres of music like Mohora, Kajol Rekha, Chandraboti and more.
Apart from performing folk songs, the artiste will also talk about his personal life and work on the programme.
Celebrity game show “Stars Icon”
Channel 9 will air celebrity game show titled “Stars Icon” on the Eid day at 8:15pm. Sina Chouhan is the host of the programme. Participating celebrities are cricketers Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Tamim Iqbal; models Sarika, Faria and Rakhi. The programme has been directed by Mahfuzur Rahman. Apart from game show, they will talk about their personal experiences, interesting incidents and will perform songs and more.
Tarin's Solo Musical Soiree
Channel 9 will air solo musical soiree, featuring songs by celebrated TV actress Tarin, on the second day of Eid at 4:45pm. She is also known for her skills in dancing. Recently her first solo album has hit the market.
