Obituary

Dabirul Hasan Junaid, an eminent tea planter, died at his residence in Dhaka on Monday. He was 73.
He is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren, said a press release.
Dabirul Hasan, the younger brother of Brac Founder and Chairman Sir Fazle Hasan Abed, was managing director of Progressive Brokers Limited, and director of Planters (BD) Ltd and Hasan Holding Ltd.
His qulkhwani will be held after Asr prayers at Brac Centre (2nd floor) in the capital tomorrow.
All his relatives, friends and well wishers are requested to attend the programme.
