IU BCL leader injured in bomb attack

A top leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League's (BCL) Islamic University (IU) unit was injured in a bomb attack by criminals at Sheikh Para Bazar near the campus yesterday.
Witnesses said Kashim Malitha, IU unit joint secretary of BCL, came under attack while he along with Shamsuzzaman Tuhin, IU unit BCL secretary, was going to the nearby bazaar in a motorbike.
They said unidentified criminals hurled four bombs and fired a gunshot at them near Rahatunnesa Girls' High School at about 10:15am, leaving Kashim injured.
Tuhin escaped unhurt in the attack.
