Fisherman shot dead

Police yesterday recovered the body of a fisherman who was shot dead by robbers in the Bay of Bengal in Chittagong.
The deceased was Jaker Ullah, 18, son of Abdullah of Sekher Khil area in Banshkhali upazila of Chittagong.
Jaker along with 15 to 16 fellow fishermen went to deep sea on a fishing trawler, said police.
A gang of 10 to 15 robbers attacked them and shot indiscriminately early yesterday. The victim was hit by the bullets and died on the way to the shore.
