<i>Row over overtaking leads to death </i>

A rickshaw puller died a tragic death yesterday when a fellow rickshaw puller hit him during a punch-up over overtaking on the Dhaka University campus.
The dead is Suja Miah, 30, of Rangpur.
Suja was trying to overtake Bachchu's rickshaw when they were crossing a road near the Jagannath Hall of DU around 12:30pm, said Sirajul Islam, officer-in-charge of Shahbagh Police Station, quoting Bachchu.
As Bachchu delayed in making way for Saju's rickshaw, the two exchanged heated words.
At one stage, they stopped pulling their rickshaws and got involved in a punch-up. Suja became unconscious when Bachchu punched him in his chest.
Students of DU caught Bachchu and whisked Suja to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.
They later handed over Bachchu to police.
