Meena to be aired on ABC Radio

The popular cartoon character Meena will be aired on ABC Radio, a private broadcaster, to facilitate vulnerable and marginalized children to share their views and concerns, said a press release yesterday.
The live radio show, which is designed and conducted by children, will be broadcast for two hours every Friday for the next six months, it said.
The initiative, first of its kind, led by UNICEF Bangladesh in partnership with ABC Radio has been taken to provide such children a platform through a live children's show for two hours every weekend with characters Meena, Mithu and Raju as radio presenters.
