Birth anniversary

Today is the 81th birth anniversary of legendary folk singer Abdul Alim.
On the occasion, different social and cultural organisations have chalked out elaborate programmes, including offering prayers and placing wreaths, said a press release.
Different TV channels will telecast special programmes marking the day.
