Tiger in the village

A male Bengal tiger came out of the Sundarbans and took position near a shrimp enclosure in Golakhali village of Satkhira on Thursday morning, sending a wave of panic through the area. The cat looked sick and hungry and its movement was slow. Villagers say the elegant animal returned to the forest for a while but came out again. According to an expert, the tiger lost its ability to hunt or collect food and was edging toward death fast. The photo was taken around 11:00am yesterday.Photo: STAR
