Fire breaks out in bakery

A fire broke out in a bakery and destroyed its goods in Muradpur area in Chittagong early yesterday.
Fire Service and Civil Defence sources said the fire originated from an electric short circuit in Hasina Bakery at Muradpur intersection around 3:20am.
Two fire fighting units from Chandanpura Fire Station rushed to the spot and doused the flames at 3:55am, said Bisu Das, telephone operator of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters in Chittagong.
