Road transport, traffic law in the offing

The government has taken an initiative to enact a road transport and traffic law to rein in the chaotic traffic across the country.
The draft bill of the proposed law, both in Bangla and English, are available on the communications ministry's website (www.moc.gov.bd or www.moc.gov.bd), said a handout yesterday.
The ministry has urged the interested individuals, organisations and stakeholders to put forward their suggestions on the draft bill.
