None arrested as yet
Police could not arrest anyone of the five accused in Himadri killing case till yesterday.
Panchlaish Police Station SI Kazi Jahir, also the Investigation Officer (IO) of the case, said they were conducting drive to arrest them.
Himadri Majumder Himu, 18, an A level student, was taken to Farhad Mansion of Panchlaish Residential Area by his friends on April 27.
They beat him mercilessly and pushed him down from the fourth floor of the building over drug peddling, said the police. He died at a hospital in Dhaka on Wednesday.
Asit Prokash Das Asit, a relative of Himu, filed a case accusing Shah Selim Tipu, 55, his son Junaid Ahmed Riad, 25, Saju, 27, Jeny, 25 and Shaon, 23 on Thursday.
