Schoolboy dies in road crash

A schoolboy was killed as a truck crushed him at Terijpool in Subarnachar upazila yesterday morning.
The deceased Md Eshak 12, son of Md Santu Mia of village Charmajid, was a student of class VI.
Charjabbar police said a truck ran over Eshak in the area while he was going to his school at around 9:00am, killing him instantly.
Agitating people detained the truck and handed over the driver to the police after giving mass beating.
