Ministry of Railways suspended four staff and closed another to Bangladesh Railway since Saturday night for negligence in duty, misconduct with passengers and involvement in black marketing of tickets.
Mohammad Samaun, ticket checker at Airport Railway Station, was closed for misconduct with passengers while Government Railway Police (GRP) sepoy Shahjahan Samrat was suspended for illegally selling tickets at the station yesterday.
On Saturday night, two GRP personnel and a member of Bangladesh Ansar were suspended for illegally selling tickets on the Chittagong Mail Train.
