Police recovered the body of a man from Bhawal National Park on Monday evening.
The deceased was Nurul Islam, 52, of Masterbari area in the sadar upazila.
Police and locals said Bakul Hossain, one of the lessees of the park, called Nurul to the garden on Saturday. Since then, he remained missing.
Forest department employees spotted the body of the victim near Gate No-6 and informed police. Later, Joydevepur police recovered the body.
Another lessee of the park, Shimul Shikdar, claimed that muggers killed Nurul.
