Tech helps achieve sustainable dev
Communication experts and media men said the use of ICT in the service delivery and management system ensured hassle-free cost effective and speedy services enabling people achieve sustainable development.
They said a magnificent development had taken place in service delivery system as even the people in the rural areas were receiving various services of their life and livelihood in the digital system that brought a change in the traditional system.
The e-services introduced at district, upazila and union created a digital opportunity by improving the quality of life of people by raising productivity, generating economic growth and employability, they told a workshop on Digital Bangladesh at the Circuit House Auditorium organised by Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB).
Chaired by PIB Director General Dulal Chandra Biswas, the function was also addressed by National Project Director of Support to Digital Bangladesh (A2I) Md Nazrul Islam Khan and BSS City Editor Ajit Kumar Sarkar. Nearly 45 journalists from different media participated in the workshop.
