<i>Seven more schools in 4 districts join the fray</i>
English language fairs under English in Schools Programme, a joint initiative of The Daily Star and mobile operator Robi, were held for students of seven schools in Netrakona, Bogra, Satkhira and Cox's Bazar districts yesterday.

Students of Anjuman Model Government High School, Dutta High School, Netrakona Government Girls' High School and Netrakona High School under Netrakona Sadar upazila joined English language fair held at Anjuman Model Government High School auditorium, reports our correspondent.
Basu Dev Chandra Saha, headmaster of Anjuman Model Government High School, inaugurated the fair at around 2:00pm.
The event started with screening of globally renowned movie The Lion King, followed by students' participation in spot quiz, vocabulary test, one-word question and quick questions --all based on the movie. Selected students also took part in extempore speech on different topics and role-play.
Over 800 students of the four schools took part in joyful interactions and watched the events based on the movie.
Eighteen students won different competitions.
Our staff correspondent from Bogra reported that over 300 students of Sariakandi Boys High School in Shariakandi upazila of the district took part in English language fair held at the school auditorium.
The fair began with the screening of The Lion King. Afterwards, quizzes on vocabulary, one-word questions, questions based on the movie, extempore speeches and role play were held.
Md Munzul Rashid, headmaster of the school, inaugurated the fair at 12.45pm.
Fifteen students won different competitions. Headmaster Munzul Rashid and Robi officials distributed prizes among the winners.
English language fair held at the auditorium of Assassuni Model High school in Satkhira saw lively participation of around 104 students of the school, reports our correspondent.
Ashrafunnahar Nargis, headmistress of the school, opened the fair at around 10:00am.
The programme began with the screening of the movie The Lion King which was followed by quizzes on vocabulary, extempore speech and role play.
Eighteen students won different competitions as per judgement of a panel of three judges. School's English teacher Mazharul Islam Robi Area Manager Probir Roy and journalist Rabiul Islam distributed prizes among the winners at the end of the programme.
