Schoolgirl commits suicide

A schoolgirl allegedly committed suicide in the city's Kafrul yesterday.
Poly Akhter, 13, a class five student of a primary school in Bhasantek area, took her life by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in her uncle's house.
She lived with her uncle Amirul Haque since childhood as her mother was insane, said her father Jahangir Alam.
Her father got married for the second time, which made her upset, he added.
