Rice mill owner abducted, two girls go 'missing'
A rice mill owner was abducted in Jessore while two teenage girls went missing in Jhenidah on Saturday.
Armed criminals in Jessore abducted a rice mill owner at Kamlapur in Chowgacha upazila on Saturday night.
The victim was identified as Kamruzzaman Kakon, son of Bakul Mia of Andulia village in the upazila, reports our correspondent.
Witnesses said the criminals waylaid Kakon while returning home on a motorbike and forcibly took him into their microbus at about 10pm and fled the scene hurriedly.

According to the victim's family, Kakon and Humayun Kabir Swapon of Sukhpukuria village had a long-standing conflict.
Kakon filed general diary against Swapon on charge of extortion a few days back.
Swapon might have abducted Kakon because of the case, Bakul Mia alleged.
In Jhenidah, two students of Jhenidah Government Girls' school went missing after joining a rally on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's birth anniversary on Saturday.
Jhenidah Sadar police station duty officer Akinur Rahman said, the girls, both 13, of Power House Para went out of home in the morning. At noon, two family members of the girls filed general diaries (GDs) with the PS.
Relatives said they found no trace of the girls after searching every possible places. They might have been abducted, they said expressing fear.
Officer in-charge (OC) Iqbal Bahar of Sadar police station said, they are trying to rescue the two girls.
