One killed in Ctg road accident

A man was killed in a road accident in Chandanpura area of the port city yesterday morning.
The deceased was identified as Swapan Das, 55, of Modunaghat Bazar area in Hathazari upazila of Chittagong.
Police said a Chawk Bazar bound bus ran over Swapan while he was crossing the road in front of Chandanpura Fire Service around 8:00am, leaving him injured critically.
He was taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries around 11:30am.
