10,000 Yaba tablets seized, 2 arrested

Police arrested two people and recovered 10,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from their possession at Ashuganj Toll Plaza in the district on Thursday night.
They are Nurul Islam, 35, and Arman Mia, 20.
On information, police arrested Nurul and Arman and seized the Yaba tablets worth about Tk 30 lakh.
Meanwhile, Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested one Ismail, 26, and seized 95 pieces of Yaba tablets from him at Hotel Purbokon at Reazuddin Bazar in Chittagong city on Thursday.
