Book Fair at Bangladesh Shishu Academy

To celebrate the 92nd birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangladesh Shishu Academy has organised a book fair, titled “Bangladesh Shishu Academy Boi Mela '12” at the academy premises.
On the occasion of the fair, a press conference was held at Seminar Room of Bangladesh Shishu Academy on March 14. State Minister for Women and Children's Affairs, Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury; director of the academy, Falguni Hamid, among others, spoke at the programme.
About 87 publishing houses are taking part in the fair. Other features of the fair are plays and special programmes on “Mina” and “Sisimpur” -- two educational shows for children. On the concluding day, Shishu Academy Award will be conferred among the best publishing house, performer and animation maker.
The fair is open to visitors everyday till March 26 from 4pm to 8pm.
