Outlaw murdered in Pabna

An outlawed operative was chopped to death at Alokchar village in Pabna Sadar upazila under the district early yesterday.
The deceased is Md Moksed Ali, 57, son of late Kutub Uddin of village Poshchim Ataikula in Sadar upazila. He was a member of a faction of outlawed Sarbahara party, police said.
Officer in charge of Ataikula police station Md Robiul Hassan Sarkar, said Moksed along with his accomplices were playing cards on Tuesday night at a shop at Alokchar village.
After the game, Moksed was returning home at about at about 1:00am. All on a sudden, a gang of criminals, numbering 8 to 10, attacked him near the shop and chopped him to death on the spot.
