My e-Kids Camp to hit city on Friday

My e-Kids Camp, a children's cultural programme, will be held for the second time in the city on Friday.
Amena Hasan Ena, convener of the 'My e-Kids Camp-2012' programme, made the announcement at a press briefing in the Jatiya Press Club yesterday.
The daylong programme will be held on Kalabagan playground and will be organised by E-Media and sponsored by Daffodil International School.
Amena said the second version of My e-Kids Camp will comprise a list of cultural competitions and amusing events including colourful rally, day-long ICT Fair, free internet browsing zone, computer games and fancy dress, painting, essay writing, poetry recitation and music competitions.
Besides, other entertaining activities like street magic, puppet show, toy train and bouncy ball will mark the programme where children from different age groups will participate.
Three top performers will be awarded in each event while one super kid will be selected from among the winners on the basis of his/her outstanding performance and will be awarded a laptop.
The programme's Chief Adviser Dr Mostafa Kamal and E-Media Director KM Hasan Ripon, Assistant Director M Anowar Habib Kazal and In-Charge Majibur Rahman Khokon were also present at the press briefing.
