‘Make TCB corruption-free’

The state-owned Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) should be made a corruption-free institution while its authority should be strengthened to keep prices of essentials stable, said speakers at a human chain yesterday.
Addressing the programme organised by Khadda Adhikar O Samajik Nirapatta Andolan before the city's National Museum, the speakers said TCB should be kept above political influence and provided with the human resources and budget it requires.
Ruhin Hossain Prince, Razekuzzaman Ratan, Abul Hossain, Zakir Hossain, Aminur Rasul, Sharifuzzaman Sharif and Zahanara Begum spoke at the programme, says a press release.
