One held for selling railway tickets illegally

Government Railway Police (GRP) yesterday arrested a person allegedly for selling railway tickets illegally at Chittagong Railway Station in the port city.
The arrestee, Al Amin, 28, hailed from Biddiyagonj village in Mymensingh, is a member of Railway Nirapatta Bahini, said GRP.
On information, police caught Al Amin red-handed while he was illegally selling tickets of different railway routes from Chittagong on the station premises around 11:30am, said GRP.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Railway (East Zone) authorities suspended three Chittagong Railway Station officials on Saturday on similar allegations.
Also, a two-member probe committee was formed on Sunday to investigate the incident, said sources.
