Citi launches cross-border remittance services

Citi's Global Transaction Services Business on Wednesday announced the launch of QuikRemit, a set of cross-border remittance services for the corporate and banking markets, says a press release.
Citi's QuikRemit service is available in over 90 countries and incorporates solutions from PayQuik, a privately owned company that Citi acquired earlier this year.
PayQuik was a provider of money transfer solutions to banks, credit unions and money transfer organizations.
"The launch of QuikRemit demonstrates our continued commitment to be the leading provider of the full range of payments services," said Paul Galant, CEO of Citi's Global Transaction Services business.
