Nasir upsets Russian GM

Sheikh Nasir Ahmed recorded his third successive win in the International Chess Festival of Moscow Open when the Bangladesh FIDE Master defeated Russian GM Evgeni Vasiukov in the fifth round on Wednesday.
Nasir pushed their tally to three points, half a point behind GM Abdullah Al Rakib, who maintained his unbeaten run but drew with local GM Vladimir Potkin at the Russian capital.
International Master Enamul Hossain Rajib stuck to 2.5 points after losing to Emilis Peleckis of Lithuania.
