Bangladesh Air Force and Bangladesh Army won their respective matches of the Exim Bank-Noorjahan Shaheed Smriti Hockey tournament at the Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium yesterday.
Bangladesh Air Force defeated Bangladesh Police 2-1 with Mamun Hossain and Saddam Hossain scoring one goal apiece while Bangladesh Army also defeated Abahani by an identical 2-1 scoreline with Milon Hossain and Rokonuzzaman netting one goal each.

Parash, Lal Chand, Rahich and Saifuddin moved to the next round of the men's singles in the Prime Bank Pallima Badminton Tournament beating their respective rivals at the Pallima Sangsad premises yesterday.
Parash beat Arif 21-15, 21-10; Lal Chand beat Rony 21-14, 21-12; Rahich beat Rahul 21-4, 21-6 and Saifuddin beat Sony 21-12, 21-10.
Five matches of men's doubles were also held yesterday.
