Int'l confce of schools begins in Ctg
A five-day long international conference of schools from different countries, organised by Round Square, an international organisation, started at Chittagong Grammar School (CGS) in the port city yesterday.
The theme of the conference is "Technology for a Sustainable World," said Zia Golam Mohiuddin, the organisation's representative in CGS.
About 80 schools from home and abroad are participating in the event.
Director of CGS Shereen Ispahani delivered the welcome speech.
Chief Executive Officer of Round Square, Brian Dawson, director of South Asian and Gulf region, Sumer Singh were, among others, present on the occasion.
