Fire kills boy

A five-year-old boy was burnt alive at their house at Debpur in Burichong upazila early Sunday.
The deceased, Mehedi Hasan, was son of Abdul Awal, a worker of Comilla Spinning Mill. Fire service sources said the fire originated from an electric short circuit at the house at around 3:00am.
Mehedi was burnt alive as he could not come out of the house. He was staying alone in his room as his father was not present while his mother, also a worker at the mill, was on duty during the incident.
