ATN Bangla to hold talk show on solar power
Solar power can be a huge energy saver in the country. In recognition of this fact, renewable energy is becoming a popular energy source for many corporate organisations, who are meeting their power requirements by setting up solar plants. The country can overcome the looming problem of electricity shortages once solar power usage is popularised among household consumers as well.
There are many organisations in the country that support corporate houses and household consumers to set up solar plants in order to ensure its efficient use. The country's private TV channel ATN Bangla will hold a special talk show on the prospects of renewable energy in Bangladesh on January 17 at 1:25 pm.
Experts on renewable energy will participate in the show. Former Secretary of Power Division of Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources and director of IDCOL Dr. M. Fouzul Kabir Khan, managing director of Grameen Shakti Afsar Kamal and managing director of Japan Solar Tech Bangladesh Ltd. Syed Mahmudul Huq will discuss the prospects of renewable energy in Bangladesh.
The show will be anchored by chairman of Unitrend Muneer Ahmed Khan and moderated by Lana Khan.
