Foreign wine recovered

Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard (east zone) recovered huge quantity of contraband foreign wine from Moheshkhali in Cox's Bazar yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, the coast guard members conducted a drive at Gorak Ghata in the area at around 3:00am and recovered 1,890 bottles of foreign wine worth about Tk 47 lakh from an engine-run boat, said a press release.
The force also seized the boat.
