Spurious soybean oil seized

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested three people along with spurious soybean oil at Singra Bazar of Singra upazila early Tuesday. The arrestees are Shafiul Kader, salesman of Asif Agro Limited, trucker Abdur Razzak and helper Abdur Rahman Sheikh. Police said locals found the contaminated oil under the brand “Daily Soybean” was being unloaded at a store at dead of night and informed the elite force. Later, the Rab men rushed to the spot and seized the soybean oil manufactured with water and colour.
