A teams sans training
Bangladesh A will be on a high as they take on England Lions in the second one-day match at the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong today.
But both teams will be slightly less prepared as they had to postpone their pre-match training at the same venue due to political rallies in the port city. According to a source within the teams, it was learned that the management of both teams didn't find the security sufficient enough to trek through to the Sagarika area where the stadium is situated.
But the venue manager of the Chittagong stadium, Fazle Bari Khan, cited a different reason. "They played a game only yesterday [Sunday] so they didn't want to practice today [Monday]," he said.
The home side took a 1-0 lead in the five-match series through their six-wicket win in the first game on Sunday. The six replacement players for the Bangladesh A team arrived in Chittagong on Sunday.
