Valuables worth Tk 1 lakh gutted

Valuables worth Tk1 lakh of a jute manufacturing factory were gutted in a fire in the port city yesterday.
Agrabad Fire Station sources said the fire broke out around 4:55am at Chittagong Jute Manufacturing Limited in Mohora area but the cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
Two units of Kalurghat Fire Station went to the spot and doused the blaze around 8:50am, the sources added.
